Travel Grants

The ICO offers grants to support eye care professionals around the world. The grant will consist of an amount of 1000 USD and a waived registration fee.

Travel grants will be awarded to accepted abstract submitters based on the quality of the abstract and need. Priority will be given to participants from middle and low income countries.

The travel grant application is part of the abstract submission process. Please indicate that you wish to apply for a travel grant during the online abstract submission process. Travel grant recipients will be automatically registered for the meeting without payment. Those who have previously paid for registration will be reimbursed within 6 weeks after the Congress. The 1000 USD travel grant will be sent following receipt of the certificate of attendance.

Eye care professionals that are awarded a travel grant will be notified by the end of January 2020 and will be reimbursed for their expenses.
